'Emma transformed my downstairs living space; she changed the way my furniture was laid out, where we sat and relaxed as a family, maximising the light coming in from the big window that looked out onto the garden. It’s incredible how you place furniture and decorate your home with these ideas in mind thinking that this is the best way. Having Emma as our interior designer made us rethink this plan. Her expertise and skill completely changed the way we now live and feel in our home and we wouldn’t have achieved this without her. I would never have used the services of an interior designer before. Our home didn’t flow and space wasn’t being utilised. Emma has changed my view on this and I would most definitely use her services again. Emma was a joy to work with, professional from start to finish and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I recommend Emma not just because of her amazing attention to detail but also because of her passion. Her passion to make your home beautiful, as if it was her own. This is a real quality in itself.'

' As a first-time homeowner, I found the blank canvas of the house with some odd bits of loved furniture daunting to organise and decorate. Emma took the time to understand what I wanted to use the space for and what sort of style I liked. She designed an art room for me, with enough stylish storage to suit my needs. I had bought one bright blue cabinet that I knew I wanted in there, but I didn’t want the whole room to be too brightly coloured. She suggested furniture and accessories that tied the room together wonderfully into a space I thoroughly enjoy spending time in, on a very reasonable budget.
I live in a small, dark house and Emma was also able to make suggestions about arranging furniture and colour schemes in other rooms that brought space and light, as well as a warm and cosy feeling that I was after. In my living room I had put up some William Morris wallpaper and with consideration of texture and pattern she was able to suggest light fittings, curtains, and other furnishings that I would never have ordinarily gone for, that really pulled the room together.
Emma’s most recent experience of designing her family home and her appreciation for how important having a home you love is, means her suggestions are really considered and my home is a much more enjoyable space because of it. '

'I loved working with Emma, she helped bring out my creative side and fill an empty space with all my favourite things.
Emma was so fun to work with, nothing was too much for her. She absolutely nailed my personal taste, and provided links to never-to-be-found interior items which were just spot on for the atmosphere I wanted to create. Emma took the space I had to the next level. I'm thrilled with the outcome and never dreamed my home could look so amazing.
Thanks Emma; I couldn't have done it without you!'

'We had for a long time considered the project that we undertook in our home. It was a large project, reconfiguring the downstairs to create a large open plan kitchen and sitting area with a separate lounge and study. We felt overwhelmed by the project and Emma guided us through the entire process. She got to know us and our wants and needs for the project. She listened to what we needed from a practical sense and also from a aesthetic perspective which made the space very easy to use and beautiful. We really enjoyed working with Emma; we found her friendly and professional and we would work with her again in the future.'

'The redecoration of our sitting room was the first time we had employed the services of an Interior Designer; and we were most impressed by everything that Emma (Blake) brought to the project.
Emma could see which items we wanted to retain going forward, so was soon able to scope the rest: carpetting, ceiling, wallpaper and lighting (ceiling and wall lights). Her great insight into art and design - colour, light and shade, and patterns (sometimes complex) - quickly put her on a wavelength with us. Visualising fast, Emma scored really highly by speedily reducing a vast array of catalogue entries to a small, precise handful from which we could happily select those we wanted; never failing to achieve good matching and coordination.
Emma followed this up by working well with her exceptional choice of painter and decorator, and readily understood a potential difficulty over wiring which our electrician overcame. (We have decided not to pursue a couple of loose ends with carpet supplier or fitter.)
Overall, we could not have wished for higher quality or a more pleasing image and effect.
Thank you, Emma!'

' We engaged Emma to help us re-decorate our living room. We found her to be very professional and helpful, and she understood what we were looking for even where we couldn’t articulate it well ourselves. Emma presented us with various options for curtains, wallpaper and paint, and we found our perfect combination. The finished outcome is wonderfully co-ordinated and our made-to-measure curtains have a stunning pattern. We are delighted with the outcome and would welcome the opportunity to work again with Emma in the future. Highly recommended.'

'I had a design consultation with Emma today to discuss ideas for our living room and dining room as we were stuck in a rut and couldn’t see the wood for the trees. Emma came up with some brilliant suggestions of how to make the space work for us better as a family and found some stunning pieces of furniture that would compliment our rooms. She has revolutionised our current living space, I can’t wait to get started. Thank you so much Emma!'
