About Me:

As a qualified interior designer, art and design has always been a driving force in both my personal life and career. I began by studying Art GCSE and 'A' Level before completing a Batchelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design. I am also an active member of the Bishop's Stortford Arts Society, where I love contributing my expertise with like minded people.

I started my career locally in Bishop's Stortford, at a family run business Carr and Bury Ltd working on residential properties. Over the years of being an interior designer I have been fortunate enough to gather a tapestry of design experience from residential, hospitality and the architectural sector. Residential projects ranging from a colour consultation and soft furnishings to full scale managed projects. Architectural projects included drawing packages for large scale residential developments and interior design, drawing and procurement packages for various hospitality projects. I now use this wealth of experience to offer a truly bespoke and unique design experience for my clients in their homes and collaborate with artisans and use ethically sourced products and services to achieve this.

My strength as an interior designer is my ability to empathise with the difficulties you face when trying to design a space. I understand that people sometimes just don't know where to start and I am happy to guide clients through this process to make it fun and enjoyable instead of stressful. I take time to get to know people; learn about how they live their lives and what makes them tick, in order to create a beautiful home for each person. Every step on our design journey is a collaboration with a joint vision of creating a space that is totally suited to you in every way.
